Kırıkkale Vocational School was established under the Non-formal Education Institution in 1976, was affiliated to Ankara University in 1981 and was affiliated to Kırıkkale University in 1992 with the founding law of Kırıkkale University.
It is among the first 8 Vocational Schools established among all Vocational Schools. The World Bank evaluated this priority as an important advantage in its projects and was included in the I. Industrial Education Project, faculty members were sent abroad and the laboratory infrastructure was strengthened.
Education and training activities are carried out in 21 programs under two departments at the school. The majority of these programs are especially technical programs; It has a very rich equipment with laboratory infrastructures. Laboratory and physical dependence on vocational high schools in the programs created with the transition without exam were abolished as of the 2005-2006 academic year. However, support is received from time to time on the basis of instructors.
In addition, our college; revolving fund applications have started to be developed in some programs. These certification programs may be limited to manufacturing operations and technical support services. He especially concentrates on Automotive, Furniture Decoration, Construction, Machinery and Computer Technology and Programming Education programs. Training programs for environmental industry organizations started in 2007 in the form of certificate programs through our University's Continuing Education Research and Application Center.
